Somewhere in Montana close to Glacier Nat'l Park

we are amused.
The "grocery store" is hardly one, but we were able to get substitutions.
The HH is being tossed around a bit in the wind
It is raining (again)
Oreo thins for dessert.
Watching The Magnificent 7

I posted photos and am interested in what you think is growing in a field that are yellow.  Two people responded seriously on FB.  The reward is a laundry stone from Montana.
Outsidesort of near where we stayed last night but about 75 miles away we came upon an unadvertised Dinosaur farm. The R says there are a lot of dinosaurs uncovered in this region.  There is also a Dinosaur Museum in Malta.  The first TRex came from MT in 1902 and the first dinosaur fossils were identified here in the 1840s, so it stands to reason that these places are dotted around the state.
As far as the Indian Nations are concerned, MT was considered the first best place long before it beca,e "the last best place".  The reservations remain sacred places and there are a number of different tribes (Black Feet, Crow, Northern  heyenne, Sioux,  Assiniboine, Arapaho, Shoshone, Nez Pierce, Flathead, Chippewa and. Red). I read aloud to the R about The Battle of Bears Paws with Chief Joseph and the hard fought battle of the Nez Pierce as they tried to reach freedom in Canada that fell short by about 50 miles.  They travelled 1500 miles in total before they were stymied by hunger, cold, illness and fatigue.  Imagine 1500 miles on ponies and foot.  Unbelievable.
So that's about it for today.    We are both looking forward to 3 days in Glacier, which is quite near us.  Tomorrow a leisurely morning, hopefully not having to,pack up in the rain which as followed us for too many days.
The R found another tick.  This time on his wrist.  He had just picked up Lucy so he is blaming it in her.  Regardless, we feel awful, thinking we are contributing to them moving further west as hobos on our bodies.  Sigh...
Good night.  Look at the photo of the double, rainbow outside!
