Day 4
I digress. If you followed FB some of this is repetitive, but there are other non FB followers who didn't get some of the chatter.
Last night I watched volleyball with our 2 neighbors Doug and Tony and had a beer with them. I walked in on a hearty debate over whether Florida has the best beef vs Nebraska. Tony is from Nebraska, Doug from Fla. I just laughed and had little to offer other than a steak off should include us if we came back to this place on our way home.
Of utmost importance was their input into "toilet management". Clearly we were failing with the chemicals I had purchased. We had the rocket open/closed, fan on, door closed, sprays, windows open and I was mortified that it smelled like an out house. Doug to the rescue with support for his recommendation from Tony. We emptied the black water and I dumped this blue liquid in followed by a good flush and voila', much better. You can imagine the hilarity of the conversation between a grey haired bat and 2 men.e. They are both near Alt Right guys and I listened in amusement as they bantered back and forth about the political and media situation here and abroad. At one point Doug asked me "so how is your Teresa May doing?", not realizing or knowing that she and Trump were of the same minds representing the Conservatives.. Very carefully, I chose my words explaining the "Vote of Confidence" and its repercussions. Then they wanted to talk about Brexit. Doug is an Engineer who is pretty worldly having worked all over the world and the US. Tony by his own admission had never heard of Brexit or the issues in the U.K. It was pretty obvious we were not of similar political beliefs, it it was a fun night with me talking about the no hearing replacement of the ACA and its implications. They were astounded over was is now being defined as pre-existing conditions and the financial implications for those with them.
